Our story starts with one dog, and ends with helping millions more.W
When we found out our puppy, Edgar Allan Paws, was predisposed to arthritis, we threw ourselves into preventive care. Better food, better exercise, better routines. And still, we were guessing. Fragmented information, no clear picture of what was happening inside his body.
That’s when we realised we were missing the most important piece, their biology. You can’t make confident choices without it, yet most owners are expected to. We were right there with them. So we built Elita Blueprint.
A system that uses biology to guide proactive care, connect the dots, and highlight early changes before they become problems. A world-first longevity platform that uses a dog’s own data to understand what they actually need to stay healthier for longer.
And this all started with one pivotal discovery. During our search for ways to help Edgar, we came across stem cell banking, a way to store healthy cells today for future treatments. It was clearly the future of pet care, yet it didn’t exist here in Australia.
With one of us working in stem cell research and the other in technology, we built it from the ground up. Elita began as Australia’s first stem cell bank for pets, creating the biological foundation for everything that followed.
What started as a promise to one dog has become a mission to help every pet access more good years, guided by science, supported by their own biology, and made simple for the humans who love them.
We want every pet to live their best life. So we’ve built the world’s first biologically enabled longevity platform for pets, uniting biology, data, and care to deliver personalised insights that take the guesswork out of preventive health.

Dr Jade Jaffar
Biomedical scientist with expertise spanning translational research, biomarker discovery, and therapeutic development. Jade has built and led multiple human biobanks across Australia and the US, and collaborated with industry leaders like CSL and AdAlta. At Elita, she leads our biological R&D, advancing personalised, preventative, and cell-based veterinary health solutions.

Dr Jeewantha Wijesignghe
Clinical veterinarian with over 20 years in practice and a PhD in stem cell science. A former lecturer at the University of Melbourne’s Veterinary School, Jeewantha combines extensive surgical and clinical expertise with deep knowledge in biological and preventative medicine, guiding Elita’s veterinary and scientific strategy.
Jackson Gritching
Our co-founder and CTO, Jackson is a biomedical engineer who loves turning science into real-world impact. With experience across deep tech, biotech, and cell-based innovation (plus a deep love for furry friends), he’s perfectly suited to making personalised, preventative vet medicine accessible to Australian pet owners.
