1

Respiratory & Airway Function

Frenchies are genetically predisposed to airway restriction (BOAS). Monitoring exercise tolerance and recovery times is critical to preventing progressive respiratory decline.

2

Spinal Stability & Structure

Genetic differences in spinal structure are common but often silent. Monitoring movement stability is your best defence against pressure on the spinal nerves or stress on the nervous system.

3

Skin Barrier Defence

Deep folds create micro-environments prone to yeast overgrowth. Managing moisture levels and gut microbiome balance prevents chronic infection and skin barrier breakdown.

The silent signals of a French Bulldog

Track, learn, and act with confidence. From monthly medication reminders to analysing blood results, Blueprint gives you one trusted platform to manage your dog’s health and support a longer, healthier life.

Rising sleep respiratory rate is the earliest flag of BOAS, signaling physiological stress long before audible snoring appears.

Delayed cooling after play isn't normal; it’s an early physiological marker of airflow resistance and oxygen debt.

Tiny hind-limb wobbles or a reduction in the spring in their step are early indicators of vertebral stress, appearing well before pain.

Internal inflammation often precedes skin issues. Tracking microbiome shifts detects immune activation before hot spots develop.

Slight dampness or odour in facial folds signals compromised skin barrier function long before redness or irritation is visible.

STEP 2

Procedure day

24 hours before surgery, we’ll confirm with you and your vet that everything is ready to go. Elita Genetics will deliver the collection kit to your vet ahead of the procedure. Follow your vet’s instructions for dropping off your pet.

During the procedure, your vet will collect a small fat sample. We’ll arrange secure transport to bring the sample to our lab for processing.
